Central Finland Mobility Foundation (Cefmof) announces plan to construct a Hydrogen station in Jyväskylä, Finland, late Summer 2025
JYVÄSKYLÄ, FINLAND
April 21, 2025 - Central Finland Mobility Foundation (Cefmof1), established by Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF), the city of Jyväskylä, Finland, and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing World Rally Team (TGR-WRT) and working to create a sustainable society through achieving carbon neutrality, is pleased to announce that there has been progress regarding the hydrogen demonstration project2," first announced September 2024.

Cefmof will play a leading role in constructing a hydrogen refueling station scheduled to open by the end of Summer 2025.
This hydrogen station will support Finland's first pilot project for a wide range of public transport using clean hydrogen fuel, able to refuel not only large vehicles, such as buses and trucks, but also smaller vehicles, such as taxis and vans.
This project will be an important step towards a sustainable future by creating the foundation for a green hydrogen ecosystem in Central Finland. For more details, please refer to the Cefmof press release below3.
