Toyota Mobility Foundation: Projects - Bangkok
The city of Bangkok has experienced an unprecedented swell in population that has put pressure on its existing roadways. One example is Sathorn Road, a major hub that connects the central and west sides of Chao Phraya River and that supports a concentration of schools, offices, hotels, and shopping centers. At many times, and especially during rush hour, traffic comes to a standstill.
Can we help ease traffic and congestion by creating a system that allows for a more effective integration of vehicles and other modes of transport?
